Thanksgiving Blessings

Thanksgiving Food Boxes are blessings for our families who experience food and housing insecurities. We need your help in providing Thanksgiving dinner for 40 families in our program.

Boxes typically contain the following and should feed a family of six (6):

Gift cards for turkeys

A turkey pan with turkey bag

Instant Mashed Potatoes

Cranberries (canned)

Canned Veggies – corn or green beans

Canned Sweet Potatoes or Yams

Brown Sugar

Canned Pumpkin or Apples

Premade Pie Crusts

Other ideas: craft projects for kids, recipe cards for mom and dad, etc.

Non perishable food donations and/or gift cards will be collected from November 2nd through November 16th.

Thanksgiving Food Boxes will be distributed to families on Monday November 23rd and Tuesday November 24th.  We would like to have all donation in by November 16th. So, we can have them given out by November 24th.

Thank you for all you do to help support Family Promise Salt Lake, because of you we are able to keep our mission going.

 A Christmas to Remember

Join us from November 27th  through December 17th in providing holiday joy for the families currently in our shelter and housing programs.

With 40 active families in our programs who are working towards maintaining housing stability, the holidays can present unique challenges.  Help us provide a Christmas to Remember.

You can select families from our Star Tree located in our Day Center at 814 West 800 South.   Masks will be required to enter our facility.

Donations/gifts can be brought to the Day Center Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm starting November 27th.  Last day for donation drop off will be December 17th.

Gifts must be new, and clearly marked for the intended recipient on your “star”.  Volunteers will be available to wrap gifts for your convenience.
